BEST SKINCARE FOR SHOULDER/BACK ACNE!

         Hello everyone,
I would like to share my experience with back acne. It is extremely embarrassing but I know a lot of people suffer with this type of acne.

Coming back from Korea, I had an extreme acne outbreak. It was all on my cheeks on my face and on my shoulders and upper back. For my back, the acne was more of just a rash looking acne with some pimples.
I did not take photos of my back just because of how depressed I was about it. As the months went on, the acne started turning into cystic acne. If you have ever experienced cystic acne then you know how painful it is. Cystic acne hurts to touch and also just kills confidence. Not only was I having painful acne, I was also getting depressed at how my skin looked.

I researched a lot about products and I tried a lot. I tried the African black soap which did not do much for my back but really helped clear my face up. I also tried the African black soap toner on my back and face.
Remember that everyone has different types of skin. What works for me, might not work for you. I would suggest just trying different skincare products until you find something you like and that works for you.
But here are some products that really worked for me!

Dr Teals Lavender Epsom Salt - Soothe and Sleep - 3lbs - 1 bag

Before I shower, I would exfoliate my back and shoulders with Dr. Teal's Epsom salt. I believe this helped cure my acne 100% faster than it would have been cured if I had just washed it with soap. Exfoliating is very important and helps get rid of dead skin and opens pores. I would exfoliate every night before my shower. (Sometimes I was lazy and didn't do it but for a majority of the time, I did.) I would wash off the salt once I stepped into the shower and continued with my routine from there.
I will start with this tea tree anti-fungal body soap. The brand is Oleavine Theratree and I purchased this body soap on Amazon.com. I purchased this soap towards the end of my acne journey but it helped heal my back acne and keep the pimples from coming back. The scent is a little strong but I do not mind the smell of tea tree. I use this in the shower and pour a decent amount on a loofah back scrubber and scrub my back for a good 5 minutes or so. I use this product every time I shower. I would definitely recommend this product to someone suffering from back acne.

Humane acne wash was a product that I didn't use often. I didn't use it because it had an odd smell and when I used it on my face, it gave me a bad rash. For my back, it helped along side with the exfoliation. I would put some on my shoulders and wait a few minutes before washing it off. It helped with drying out my pimples. I would use this occasionally because drying out your skin is not good for it.
After I got out of the shower, I would take a cotton pad and put Thayers' Witch Hazel  on my shoulders and upper back. I can honestly say that this product helped me so much. After all the exfloiating and the cleansing that I put my shoulders and back through, I needed to add back some moisture and calm my skin down. I love this toner; it smells amazing and it really helped calm and moisturize my skin. I also believe it helped cure some of my acne. After using this product, I noticed how different my acne was. My acne started to heal from the cystic form and slowly fade away. I 100% recommend using this for acne; on the face and back.

As I said before, what works for me, might not work for you. You just have to give products a try and do your research. Not only did I use these products, but I also drank a lot of water and was paying attention to the amount of greasy foods I was eating. Remember that acne can be caused by a number of things and if you do not see a change, I would recommend seeing a dermatologist.
For my skin now, I have some "scaring" which is basically some inflammation of my skin. There are some faded "dots" on my shoulders but other than that, I feel more confident and happy than I was before. This was not an overnight fix; it took me about 5 months to see a total change.

Remember to relax, do not get upset over it, do not pick at your acne, drink lots of water and know that you are beautiful and this is fixable! I hope my post helped and that you have a wonderful day!
Thank you for reading!
